Celebrate love, transformation, and community this summer in Shakespeare’s joyous comedy, As You Like It, in the Globe Theatre from 18 August.
The Forest of Arden. Rosalind and Celia are on the run and in disguise; Orlando is pinning his impassioned attempts at poetry to branches; Oliver is seeing fantastical visions of strange beasts.
From the loyal love between family to the sudden love of strangers, and from the vicious love between enemies to the desperate love of remorse, journey into the forest as we embark on a transformative adventure. Who knows what – or who – we might find?

What's opening in London theatres this month? (August 2023)
Did you know that August originally only had only 30 days? However, Augustus, the Roman Emperor after whom August is named, did not want his month to be shorter than Julius Caesar’s month (July). So he added one day to August, making it the same length as his Caeser’s. Thanks to Augustus’ self-consciousness, we have a whole extra day to see some fantastic shows! Which is great news as a whole host of brand-new productions will be hitting the West End this month. From red-hot Argentinian dance moves in La Bamba, to the ice cool Death Note – The Musical, whether you’re a Roman Emperor or hold a lesser title, there is something for everyone!
